 What does it cost to work with a personal shopper? 
$80-$250/hr. Finding styles you wouldn't normally have chosen but love and doing it efficiently are two of the benefits of working with us. In general, we can accomplish more together than you can alone.
 During a wardrobe consultation, do I have to get rid of a lot of things?
 My role as an image consultant is to guide you in making decisions about your existing wardrobe. You make the final decision about what to get rid of, store away, give to a friend or relative, have altered, or keep.
 How organized do I need to be in advance of a wardrobe consultation?
 That's completely up to you. Some clients lay things out that they are particularly interested in looking at and others just open their closet doors and we start at the very beginning! Do I choose where we shop or does the personal shopper? 
Personal shoppers do not impose their tastes on you — that's critical to know. Choosing where to shop is a collaborative effort. I guide you based on your lifestyle, body shape, personal style and budget. We can shop at any store from Target and Sears to Nordstrom and Sak’s and everything in between! 
 What if I don't have a large budget for shopping? 
That's fine. We tailor our personal shopping experience to meet your needs and budget.
 Do ModeInStyle Image Consultants, Fashion Stylists and Personal Shoppers work with plus size women? 
We work with women of all sizes and shapes. About 1/3 of my clients are plus size and at least another 1/3 wear a size to 3 sizes different on top and bottom. I believe all women, regardless of size and shape, are beautiful. My goal as a image consultant and personal shopper is to help you feel and radiate that beauty!

 Just one thing. As a personal shopper, I have one shopping rule: You must try on anything I ask you to try on. You don't have to buy it, but trying it on can be eye opening and expand your options of colors, styles, and fabrics that look good on you!
 What is Personal Color Analysis?
 Personal Color Analysis is the scientific analysis of a persons natural skin coloring in order to identify a personal color tone. The goal is to find the colors that are most harmonious with a person’s skin tone in order to balance and strengthen their natural coloring. The analysis also identifies those colors to avoid - those that compete with a person’s natural coloring creating negative visual affects. Who should have a color analysis?
 Color analysis is for both men and women and for people of all races and nationalities. We prefer to wait until teens are at least 18 or older. A color analysis is particularly useful for those who are looking to save money and time, those who want to look healthier, those who are interviewing for a job or want to make a positive impression, and for anyone who wants to maximize their appearance. A Personal Color Analysis makes a unique gift for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations or other special events. How does a color analysis work?
 The analysis is done by observing and comparing the effects of placing different test colors next to the skin. Colors that aren’t in harmony with the skin will fight against the skin tone. This will cause the face to look drained and cause shadows, lines, dark circles, blotches, blemishes and other flaws on the face to stand out. Colors that are in harmony with the face will cause both the skin tone and the color worn to look more vibrant. Will a tan change the results of the analysis?
 A slight tan should not affect the results of the color analysis, but it’s best to wait until a deep dark tan fads before doing the consultation. Do you do groups? 
We often have requests for groups to come to our studio for color analysis parties. Because of our detailed and thorough analysis, we can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 participants. The ideal group will be 2-4 participants and takes 2-3 hours 
 What makes a color analysis at ModeInStyle different?
 ModeInStyle uses a state of the art Personal Color Analysis. This 12 tone Seasonal System goes beyond the 4 Season Color Analysis system that most people are familiar with. Back in the 70’s and 80’s many people were first introduced to the idea of color analysis through a 4-season method of identifying skin tone as either warm or cool. While this method worked for some, it was not complete. We now know that the majority of the population is neither warm nor cool but actually somewhere between. We provide a Personal Book of Color with every consultation in addition to a full description of an individual’s seasonal profile and tips on wardrobe, hair color, hairstyle, etc. For females the consultation also includes a cosmetic consultation. Clients are offered a full range of jewelry, handbags, cosmetics and other accessories to compliment their color palette. Many of these accessories are handmade by local artists.. 
 Is the color analysis expensive? 
No, the analysis costs $125 for woman and $100 for men. This includes the Personal Book of Color and a seasonal profile, a cosmetic consultation (for females) as well as a variety of other wardrobe and style tips. The results of the analysis will last a lifetime, unlike other treatments such as haircuts, coloring, and salon treatments. A couple of items of clothing sitting in a closet never worn will add up to about the same as one analysis. Using a Personal Book of Color helps you save time and money in addition to helping you feel and look better. You will have a wardrobe that is coordinated and versatile. For ladies, you will need less makeup. You will only buy clothing that works for you. You will approach shopping with confidence and clarity.
